New month, new reads! If you missed my first “What To Read” post from last month – this is basically a new type of monthly post that I want to do where I list out what I’m planning to read for that month. This is so that in case any of you listen to our podcast and want to be “ahead of the game” as to what titles I’ll be discussing on there with my cohost, you’ll be in the know 🙂 Also, if you wanted to read along with the same books, it would kind of feel like we’re doing a virtual book club! FUN!
Okay, so … if you listened to the most recent episode of the podcast, you’ll already know this but to my shame, I have not read as much as I would have liked to last month. I think a lot of my time was consumed with completing #75Hard so I didn’t have a lot of extra free time to read but … I really want to change that for February! In January, out of all the books I said I wanted to read, I only managed to finish Little Women and The Book of Life. To be fair, both of those are really long, thick titles, but … I know I can do better! So for February, I’m going to be rolling over the same list of books I wanted to read last month and I AM GOING TO TRY MY GOSH DARN BEST TO GET THEM DONE THIS MONTH!
- Tell Me Three Things (Julie Buxbaum)
- The Cruel Prince Trilogy (Holly Black)
- The Assassin’s Blade (Sarah J. Mass)
If you want a breakdown of why I chose each of these books, you can go ahead and reference my last “What To Read” post. Happy reading, friends!
