Some days, I feel like I’m living on a (very noisy) farm. My kids are turning into such chatterboxes (yes, even E, who I never thought I’d describe that way!) and it’s hilarious to overhear their conversations/play when they’re all at home. Here’s a small snippet of what it might sound like any given afternoon at the Sophisu Home.
E: (reading a book aloud to herself)
A: (babbling/yelling)
E: …. no! NO! A, NO!!!!!!!
D: Em, just close your door then!
D: Pew pew pew!!! Pew!
E: NO A!
A: (SHRIEEEEEKINGGG!)
E: (back to reading aloud her book aloud)
A: (SHRIEEEEKING!!)
D: Pew pew pew!
Sometimes, they give me a headache but most of the time, I just relish the craziness and let it all soak in 🙂 One day, my house will be quiet and the floors will be immaculate but I won’t have the sweet sounds of their childhood anymore <3
