I picked A up from preschool last week and as soon as we got in the car, she started crying. She had worn this kitty ear headband to school and apparently two boys in her class kept teasing her and telling her she was a BAD KITTY. But, she told me as she sobbed, “I’M A GOOD KITTY NOT A BAD ONE.” 🥺

But also … 😂

So I asked her what she did/said when the boys in class kept saying she was a bad kitty. And she said she told them they were wrong but that they wouldn’t stop and it made her sad.

Guys, it’s not that I think it’s funny that she had a bad day but …. I’m just so amused that the teasing/flirting/social dynamics are starting so early. She’s FOUR. As soon as we got home from school, she ran to her daddy and told him the same thing and both of us just stared at each other like .. don’t laugh, don’t laugh.

I gave her a pep talk and said if SHE think she’s a good kitty then don’t let anyone else tell her otherwise, YOU GOT IT, GIRLFRIEND?! And she felt better after that 😉
