It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done a Week of Outfits type post so I figured we were due for another one. Right now, the weather where I live varies wildly day by day … this particular week the weather shifted (no joke) from triple-digit 100 degree weather down to a crisp 70 degrees. All in the span of a couple days! I will have little descriptions of my outfits and where I wore them to that day as well as all available links listed below! If there isn’t a link included it’s because the item isn’t available anymore :/ Also, a lot of these OOTD pictures don’t have my shoes included because I don’t wear shoes in the house. If you’re curious to see the entire outfit WITH the shoes, make sure to check out my IG! I’ll have a reel posted this week that shows all my outfits in their full glory 😉
wednesday
On this Wednesday, the “big thing” on my calendar was my Precepts Bible study at church! I don’t usually wear “real clothes” (athleisure for the win!) or style my hair during the week so it was a real treat to feel pretty & fancy this day. D definitely noticed the difference and even asked me after school if I’d gone to church because I looked like I was ready for church. HAHAHA guilty as charged! 😂

thursday
The next day, Thursday, was my typical “mom uniform” – aka ATHLEISURE. This is truly what I wear on a normal day to day basis if I don’t have somewhere specific I’m going. On this day, I happened to be volunteering at my kids’ school cafeteria and serving hot lunch so I wanted to make sure that I was comfortable but also wearing clothes that weren’t too “precious” if that makes sense.

friday
Now this day’s outfit was atypical for me because I was meeting a new friend for lunch and wanted to look somewhat put together for it! Normally if that weren’t the case, I’d probably be wearing more athleisure/something similar to yesterday’s look.

saturday
Saturday was a fun day for me because it kicked off my birthday staycation with some friends in San Francisco. My plans for this day included a fancy tea service at The Palace Hotel in SF followed by a long, luxurious spa day at the Burke Williams spa. I wanted something that was flowy and easy to wear so that I wouldn’t mind putting it back on after my spa day but I also wanted to feel pretty and girly for high tea. This flowy, floral dress fit the bill; I added a leather jacket not only to add some edge to the look but also in case it was chilly in the city (it totally wasn’t, though! We had PERFECT weather all weekend!). I finished off the look with my platform Air Force One’s so that I would be able to walk around SF comfortably.

sunday
Sunday I woke up at the fabulous St. Regis hotel super well rested and ready to continue my birthday celebrations. I knew that I wanted to look cute for my birthday lunch that I would be having with my friends later that day but also knew that most of said friends would probably show up in jeans and I wanted to match the vibe 😉 I settled for this casual chic outfit with my all-time favorite Soludos sandals. Also! These jeans are the ones that I did an IG Reel on where I showed how to DIY hem them! They look good, right!? The leather jacket is the same one from yesterday’s outfit.

monday
Monday, as you can see, we are BACK IN MOM MODE 💀 No but for reals, I relaxed so hard on the weekend that I just needed to take a step back on Monday and get my routine/life back in order. I sported my usual athleisure look but went for shorts this time around because the temps were back up to HOT HOT HOT. Also, you don’t see them in this picture but I wore my Adidas slip-on UltraBoosts that my brother-in-law/sister-in-law got for me and they *chef’s kisses* really completed the look IMO.

tuesday
LASSST but not leaaast .. 🙂 I will end this Week of Outfits post on what was my 36th birthday! I had lunch plans with some friends and obviously family dinner with my husband & kids but for the most part, this was still another “mom mode” day. I didn’t want to be as scrubby on my birthday, though, so I opted for denim shorts and an old Madewell button-back blouse that I’ve had in my closet for a few years. I wish I’d taken a picture from the back because the button-back detailing is super cute! The purse is new and was my big birthday gift this year from J, as are the shoes … hence why you see me wearing them inside the house/in the picture (because they are brand new).
