10 on 10 is a when I post 10 pictures from the 10th of the month!
one
We started our day off with a lazy, slow morning in bed… and inevitably when we have lazy, slow mornings, we end up looking at old pictures/videos of when the kids were babies and reminiscing. I texted J a sweet video I found of BABY A!!

D & A’s school pictures came back (we’ve had E’s for a few weeks already) and the girls’ photos came out as I expected them to but I was cracking up over D’s. Last year he took the best school photo I think he’ll ever take. This year, he looks … 🤓 LOL. I love my sweet, gentle boy.

J & I chilled on the couch while we enjoyed the morning .. I started reading a new YA duology that’s a retelling of a classic Korean folktale!

We intentionally decided to enjoy our slow morning because we knew our entire afternoon would be devoted to soccer. First up: A’s kindergarten rec league game. I made a deal with her that if she could make it through the entire game with a good attitude (aka no crying, no saying “I don’t want to play anymore” whining) then we’d all go get ice cream after. All I’ll say is … we did not earn ice cream after the game.

We had a short window of time to get home and change before we had to head out for D’s soccer game, which was MUCH more fun to watch! Loud cheers for #82!

By the time D’s soccer game ended, it was time for dinner. We headed down to a different city to shop/eat … It’s Daisy’s bday Sunday (she’s turning 1!!) and I wanted to stop by the pet boutique to get her some doggy friendly birthday treats….
seven
… And toys/presents. She LOVES lambie (I mean, I don’t know a dog that doesn’t) but she has ruined so many of them over the last year that I sort of gave up after the last one. I caved for her birthday though … two new ones for the sweetest pup ever plus a Himalayan yak chew!
eight
Udon & tempura for dinner 🤤
nine
Followed by gelato! This mama felt bad that we didn’t get ice cream after A’s soccer game; she had a great attitude up until the last 5 minutes so…. I caved and we got gelato after dinner. I was very amused because this gelato place serves up “baby cones” LOL. It’s the literal size of my finger but guys …it was actually the perfect amount for me! LOL just enough for a few bites of gelato and cone. I don’t have the biggest sweet tooth (I do like sweet things but only once in awhile and never a ton of it at once) so I think this baby cone thing is my new favorite thing!
ten
We came home and everyone was exhausted from a full afternoon of sports. Early showers and bedtimes (with bedtime stories!) for all.
Good night!
