10 on 10 is a when I post 10 pictures from the 10th of the month!
one
My Sunday started off early in the morning … I recently started serving on my church’s praise team and our call time is at 730AM on the Sundays we serve. If I’m serving that week, I like to get up at 530 so I can have coffee, do QT and kind of “wake up” before I need to be at church 😬

At church! I was wanting to take a cool picture of the empty sanctuary during rehearsal or maybe something OTHER THAN THIS LAME SELFIE but I totally forgot that I was supposed to be documenting 10 on 10 today until after first service was over 😂 So… here’s a selfie of me waiting in the choir room before second service begins.

After serving, I snuck back into the sanctuary through the side door to sit with my husband and listen to the sermon. Our pastor is preaching through 1 John right now .. so good!! I still am loving hand-lettering my sermon notes 🙂 Note to self (and to you I guess) – I don’t really like the black paged notebook. I thought it looked cool at the time but there are only a few types of pens that will show up on this paper and it’s annoying. Also, this notebook I’m using is a larger size than what I’ve typically used in years past and it’s TOO BIG so … that’s also annoying. I’m so happy we’re near the end of 2021 because then I will allow myself to switch out of this notebook (I’ve been using it since Oct 2020!).

After church, we rushed home, scarfed down a quick lunch and then … surprise surprise, headed off to the soccer field for a game. It was so much hotter today than I expected but the sky was beautiful!

I got a video message from this cutie “niece” of mine (her mama is one of my besties) asking if I’d sponsor her in her school read-a-thon. UMMMM, YES OF COURSE I’LL SPONSOR YOU! 😍

After soccer, we came home and everyone had quiet time/naps. I looooove me a good, quiet, Sunday afternoon. Why is it that Sunday afternoon naps are the best naps!? I also took the time to finish reading Caraval by Stephanie Garber – it’s the first of a trilogy that I’m reading for my book lovers podcast Pen & Page Gals. I’d tell you what I thought of it but … then you wouldn’t listen to my podcast episode this month *wink wink.

He forced me to take this selfie with him. I was trying to read my book in peace.

We usually do pizza night on Sunday nights but we had pizza last night at a friend’s house for dinner and didn’t feel like eating it again so Hubby suggested this new donburi place for dinner. It looked interesting but I wasn’t that hungry and J offered to take the kids out by himself so I could finish reading. It was too good an opportunity to pass up so I sent him off while I stayed home … but then he sent me pictures of the menu/food and I was having MAJOR FOMO.

So he brought some home for me to have 🥰 Bwahaha. It was pretty good!

Lastly, I finally sorted through the “donation” clothes that I want to try to sell on Poshmark. Here are my organized piles! I’ve never posted anything on Poshmark before and am a little nervous … it feels like a lot of work and if the items don’t sell then what is it all even for!? I tried to only pull out the best of the best – stuff that is still new with tags OR stuff, like Lululemon gear, that I know will always be popular even if it’s gently used. Wish me luck!
