It’s the 10th of the month and time for another “10 on 10” post! I don’t know if I was clear in my previous 10 on 10 post but basically these kinds of posts are just 10 pictures from the 10th day of the month. You can do a “day in the life” type of style of pics or you can choose a picture from every hour of the day … it’s up to you! On this day, we were traveling back after being in Socal for our nephew’s 1st birthday. My brother in law and his wife did an amazing job throwing the most beautiful party … I posted all the details on my IG stories so if you’re not following me yet, make sure to check me out @mannaformommy!
We were up bright and early at my in laws’ home, packing our things and getting ready to head to the airport. A was the last kid to wake up and she kept herself busy by looking stankin’ cute on the bed, and reading grandpa’s old dictionary from when he was a middle schooler in Korea (hah)!
The next picture I have is while we were all up in the air flying home. Since A is a lapsit baby still (although dang, those days are numbered), Hubby will usually sit with all three kids in a row by himself and I’ll sit in the row in front or behind and have a little mommy vacation. On the flight to Socal, I read a book on my kindle but on this return flight today, I just listened to the new Ariana Grande album and took a nap. Side note – I don’t really listen to current music anymore but I took a chance on Ariana Grande’s newest album that just dropped and I REALLY like it. I bought the clean version so there’s no cussing or anything … it’s the right kind of music to blast and dance to while you’re cleaning the kitchen or doing a chore you don’t want to 🙂
When we finally got home, I was SO excited to see my new Oventure keyring had finally arrived. I say “finally” like I waited so long but in reality it only took a few days to arrive lol. I’d been thinking of getting this keyring for awhile and decided to bite the bullet earlier this week. I like that it’s a big bracelet-style (I went for the silicone ring!) so I can easily throw it on my arm when I just need my keys to pick up the kids from school really quickly or something. Up until now, I’ve been taking my entire purse with me everywhere I go which can be a drag when I’ll only be in and out of the car for about 10 minutes and then back at home.
I also swung by a neighbor’s house to pick up this Northface jacket she was selling through our neighborhood Facebook buy/sell/trade group. It was practically brand new and a steal at $25! E loved it so much, she wore it the entire day after I brought it home.
We were SO tired today after an early morning flying back home. I didn’t have the energy to unpack suitcases for a few hours so they pretty much just hung out in the dining room all day. At one point, I turned and spotted A digging through her older sister’s backpack. Now that she’s almost 2, she’s starting to really come into that “annoying baby sister” role – trying to play with all their toys, drawing on their hw, etc.
Oooh, and my keyring wasn’t the only thing we got in the mail! I ordered these Sour Patch Kids individual candy packs for the big kids’ classroom valentines. I’m planning on using them with these free printables from one of my favorite mommy bloggers!
We also had some PJ Masks/the Flash superhero action going on. Don’t mind the crying toddler in the corner .. like I said, we were all super tired from a day of traveling 🙂
Sunday night homework. I brought E’s homework with us to Socal with the hopes of avoiding this Sunday night cram session (knowing we’d be exhausted) but the weekend flew by and we honestly didn’t have any time to do it while we were down there so here we were. She was such a trooper and powered through it, though!
After the kids went down, I made a little smorgasbord of snacks for “dinner” … Hubby & I typically don’t like to eat a heavier dinner, plus I think we both just wanted to nibble on finger foods since we were *again* tired from traveling all day.
Nothing like a little Handmaid’s Tale to cap off our evening! Have you watched it at all? I read the book before the show aired and blazed through season 1 last year. Loved it. And now am getting caught up with season 2! It is a little creepy though … I find I have to avert my eyes a few times here and there 🙂
