10 on 10 is a when I post 10 pictures from the 10th of the month!
Why does it always feel like I JUST did my last 10 on 10 post!? The months are going by so quickly, I swear. Anyway, as you can see, I’m wearing my Apple Watch today! I thought it was worthy of a photo because I stopped wearing my Apple Watch back in March when the pandemic first hit because we literally weren’t going anywhere or doing anything. Recently, I realized that I could probably benefit from having this tech on my wrist and put it back on. I won’t lie .. I think I’ve fallen in love with it all over again!
You may or may not have seen on my IG that I recently got a SoulCycle bike for Christmas and I have been soooo happy with it! I do miss the in-studio classes but one advantage that this at-home bike gives is that it has 20 and 30 minute classes as an option too which I don’t think is an in person thing. So it’s SUPER easy to get in some quick cardio that has me absolutely dying by the end.
The 10th of December means I get to open the 10th box of my advent calendar from Olive & June. I’m so happy with this advent calendar, guys … so far, all the products are super practical and cute nail-related things like this little set of nail decal stickers. TEEHEE!
Lately, I’ve been enjoying doubling up on my workouts at home. I hop on SoulCycle for a quick cardio burn and then do a strength or barre class at home after.
After working out and washing up/getting ready, I settled down for my FAVORITE CHORE EVER … (not). Folding laundry. Yay. Actually, since changing up my laundry system, folding laundry isn’t so bad. I used to just do laundry once a week and the pile to fold would take me at least an hour if not longer. I ALWAYS dreaded it. During quarantine, I started doing laundry every single day and wow, I don’t know how I ever got away with doing it just weekly before. Because even with doing it every day, I have a FULL load to wash and dry (and fold) .. but it’s not as bad as folding a whole week’s worth of laundry for 5 people at at time.
After laundry, I had some lunch, worked and then sat down to have my second cup of coffee. Iced coffee will always be my favorite but this Anthropologie mug that one of my friends, E, bought me for Christmas is too pretty NOT to use. If I drink hot coffee, I can’t take it black (whereas I take my iced coffee straight black). I usually add oat milk and no sugar (bc it’s too sweet and I can’t deal) and it’s perfection!
After school, D had Korean lessons with grandma on Zoom. A isn’t supposed to be in the lesson but she woke up from her nap mid-lesson and wanted to participate too. Look at her face, though .. she’s clearly still waking up hahahaha.
After Korean lesson, D had TKD and while I waited in the car for him to finish (since parents aren’t allowed inside per COVID) I discussed a chapter of this book with an older woman at my church. I’m going through some pretty heavy things in my personal life and she’s offered to walk with me through this trial and recommended this book. It’s SO GOOD, guys. We discussed Chapter 3 today and it is FIRE.
After coming home from TKD and the dinner rush, I sat down to get my mama elf mode on so I could assemble teacher gifts for the staff at my kids’ school and pods. Believe it or not, I really love doing this kind of stuff!
While I was putting the cards and gifts together, the kids were piled together in the playroom watching a show. I walked in to get some more tape and took this shot because I saw them and just thought … wow, you guys live the best life LOL.
